A Sober, Supportive Path to Lasting Recovery
Texas Recovery Residences
At Texas Recovery Residences, our vision is to be a beacon of hope and transformation, setting the standard for recovery residences in Texas. We strive to cultivate an environment where recovery is not only respected, but celebrated—a place where structure, compassion, and evidence-based practices intersect. Our commitment is to foster a community grounded in accountability, peer support, and holistic wellness, ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to thrive in sobriety and grow as a person.

Mission Statement
At Texas Recovery Residences, our mission is to create a safe, structured, and recovery-centered living environment where individuals overcoming substance use disorders are supported through peer community, personal accountability, and a shared commitment to growth.
Our approach is deeply rooted in the philosophy and practices of 12-step programs, recognizing their power to foster spiritual development, personal transformation, and enduring sobriety.
Residents are encouraged to actively participate in 12-step meetings, build meaningful sponsor relationships, and practice the guiding principles of honesty, service, and fellowship. Together, we cultivate a culture of recovery where healing is not only possible, it’s practiced daily.

our Services
Texas Recovery Residences has a 5 stage program to support individual recovery, healthy habits, financial stability, self-esteem, and building a supportive community to increase recovery capital to help participants build a successful sober life.

Community
Community starts with the fellow participants in the house, the Texas Recovery Residence Community, local recovery community through AA or other programs, the broader recovery community throughout Houston and beyond, church community if you choose to include organized religion in your recovery, and the local community through volunteering opportunities. We intend to provide a home-like environment and build strong lasting relationships.

Service
Service of others is cornerstone of spiritual growth and development of self-esteem. Through service of others, we can get out of focusing on ourselves and challenges in our lives. This is also a way to build gratitude and resilience to weather challenges in life. Through the Texas Recovery Residences programs, we provide opportunities to grow into house and program leadership roles to fulfill our mission to support the Texas recovery community.

sponsorship
Sponsorship has many different aspects in the Texas Recovery Residence program. Early in the program participants may help newcomers and others feel more comfortable and support others through recovery, finding jobs, and building life skills. As recovery grows, sponsorship may involve sharing your experience, strength and hope with others by sponsoring others as part of 12-step program or other recovery programs.
