Mission Statement
At Texas Recovery Residences, our mission is to create a safe, structured, and recovery-centered living environment where individuals overcoming substance use disorders are supported through peer community, personal accountability, and a shared commitment to growth.
Residents are encouraged to actively participate in 12-step meetings, build meaningful sponsor relationships, and practice the guiding principles of honesty, service, and fellowship. Together, we cultivate a culture of recovery where healing is not only possible, it’s practiced daily.
Vision Statement
At Texas Recovery Residences, our vision is to be a beacon of hope and transformation, setting the standard for recovery residences in Texas. Guided by the principles of the National Association of Recovery Residences (NARR) and the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network (TROHN), we envision a home where every individual is empowered to reclaim their life, restore their dignity, and redefine their future. We are not certified at this time, but we are working on obtaining certification through TROHN.
By integrating best practices and continuously elevating our standards, Texas Recovery Residences aims to inspire personal and communal transformation, reduce stigma, and contribute to a statewide network of healing. United in purpose, we believe recovery is the foundation for lifelong possibilities, and together, we build a legacy of resilience, hope, and shared success.

Our Values
At Texas Recovery Residences, accountability, progress, hope, and spiritual reliance guide everything we do. We foster accountability by encouraging residents to take responsibility for their actions while supporting one another through honesty and structure. We believe in progress over perfection, recognizing that recovery is a daily journey marked by consistent effort and personal growth. Hope is central to our community, reminding each resident that change is possible and that a healthy, meaningful life in sobriety can be achieved. Through spiritual reliance, we encourage residents to draw strength from a higher power or guiding principles of their choosing, helping them develop resilience, purpose, and balance as they continue their recovery journey.

Hope
Hope is the foundation of change. At Texas Recovery Residences, we strive to create an environment where residents can rediscover belief in themselves and their future. No matter past struggles, we affirm that recovery is possible and that a meaningful, fulfilling life in sobriety can be built one day at a time.

Progress
Recovery is a journey, not a destination. We value steady progress—both big and small—and recognize that growth looks different for each individual. By setting achievable goals and celebrating milestones, we help residents build confidence, resilience, and forward momentum in their recovery and life skills.

Spiritual Reliance
We encourage spiritual reliance as a source of strength, guidance, and peace. While respecting individual beliefs, we support the practice of turning to a higher power or spiritual principles to foster humility, purpose, and inner renewal. Spiritual growth helps residents navigate challenges and remain grounded in their recovery.

Accountability
We believe accountability is essential to lasting recovery. Residents are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, choices, and commitments while supporting one another with honesty and respect. Through structure, peer support, and clear expectations, accountability fosters trust, personal growth, and a safe living environment.
